At Innovative Connections, coaching is a foundational element of our organization. Our trained, certified, and accredited coaches, many of whom hold masters or doctorate degrees, help our clients define and move toward their goals through action.

Coaching is highly progressive and we have found it to be a pivotal strategy in achieving breakthrough outcomes and results. We offer both individual and group coaching with a focus on high-performing leaders and talent. We also work with employees who are not performing to expectations in order to support their enhanced success.

Our typical coaching engagement is a six-month period during which the coachee has access to the coach as needed, with 1:1 coaching sessions bolstered by email access. Our engagements include triad sessions with the coachee’s leader to ensure coaching goals are in alignment with organizational objectives and the leader’s support of the coaching process.

Individual Executive Development Coaching

Leadership can be an isolated experience, one in which you may not have peers in whom you can appropriately confide and from whom you can seek feedback. An executive coaching relationship is an experiential and individualized process that builds the coachee’s ability to realize goals and be more effective day-to-day. Based on mutual trust and respect, the organization, the executive, and the coach partner to achieve maximum impact. We can design personalized coaching curricula to meet your leaders exactly where they are, to support their individual growth and achievement.

Our executive development coaching services include:

  • Six months of private one-on-one 50-minute coaching sessions conducted over the phone (every 1 – 3 weeks, as mutually determined by the coach and the executive)
  • Hogan Personality Assessment
  • Up to three facilitated triad conversations with the executive coachee, the coachee’s leader, and the coach to gain feedback that will enhance professional effectiveness and growth
  • Preparation coaching for the leader prior to triad discussions
  • Access to the coach via email between sessions
  • “Homework” assignments to develop awareness and practice new skills
Individual Performance Coaching

When a leader’s performance falters, coaching can be the pivotal intervention to either get the person back on track or reach clarity that it is time to make a change. In a performance coaching agreement, the Innovative Connections coach helps the coachee and their leader make specific agreements around goals and objectives for improvement, then guides the coachee toward achieving them. Interactions between the coachee, the coach, and the leader are more frequent than with development coaching, and conversations are tightly connected to the stated desired outcomes.   

Our performance coaching services include:

  • Six months of private one-on-one 50-minute coaching sessions conducted over the phone (every 1 – 2 weeks, as mutually determined by the coach, the coachee, and the leader; these may begin with a higher frequency and decrease somewhat over time)
  • Hogan Personality Assessment
  • A minimum of three facilitated triad conversations with the executive coachee, the coachee’s leader, and the coach
  • Preparation coaching for the leader prior to triad discussions
  • Access to the coach and the leader via email between sessions
  • “Homework” assignments to develop awareness and practice new skills
